I’m playing around with a poster idea for my scrambles…

Take a listen. Oh, I hope you like…
I accidentally played a Flaming Lips song I’m so far over… but you might like, might forgive me.
I also played four FOUR songs from this album…
SO GOOD.
My review:
“Thao & Mirah – Kill Rock Stars
Indie, Folk
RIYL: Cat Power, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, First Aid Kit
Thao Nguyen (front woman of Thao with the Get Down Stay Down) and Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn come together to create a gorgeous indie lovechild. Kill Rock Stars is the successful example of a collaboration that not only works, but brings out the best of each artist to make something great. Produced by Merrill Garbus (tUnE-YarDs), the ladies lovely vocals are spiced perfectly; like the ass-shaking percussion beats on “Eleven” and “How Dare You” and a surpising, yet fitting, horn section on “Rubies and Rocks”. They’re keeping us on our toes and it is working. Every track is a do-not-skip. (Unless you’re understandably creeped out by the repeated lyric, “Put your hands down your pants, before your daddies do” on “Likable Man”.) I foresee Kill Rock Stars being a favorite of the season.
PLAY: 7, 3, 4, 11, 1 (but all, really)”
